This week I turned 24! Over the weekend my parents came into town, as did eleven other extended family members, and we had the wonderful opportunity to go boating! On Saturday my wonderful parents rented a chartered boat, and we road it from Marina Del Rey up to Santa Monica and back, which was SO FUN and for which I am so grateful.
Los Angeles has had a wild heatwave this last week, and we are lucky to have been to the beach almost every day. I have been feeling slightly unenthused about my swimwear and in the search for something different, I stumbled on some amazing vintage suits. Here are some of my favorites:
Monthly favorites is a new series I want to start, to document and remember all the wonderful things that happen every month. I'm going to try to make this mostly non-physical items, as I know no one needs another "to-buy" list in their heads. So here are my favorite things from this month!
I am so pleased to be returning back to this space! Last summer I decided to go back to college, and this is the primary reason for my absence.
I have spent the last year adjusting to my new lifestyle, and to ensure my success I put all my side projects (blog included) on hold. After a year of hard work I feel confident that I can easily balance school with my artistic endeavors and passion projects, and I am so excited to dive back in.
I’m hoping to expand this blog to include more everyday topics apart from big events and trips, but the overall direction has not yet been decided. That being said this summer I will be traveling to the Bay Area to visit UC Berkeley and then to Italy with Ben, and these trips will definitely be making a cameo in the coming months!
Happy to be back,
I've been reading Mary Oliver all day and I got reminded of the awesome time Ben and I had at Cape Kiwanda. All I want to do right now is explore a new coast or forrest, but having class in an hour, I will have to reminisce. This was such an awesome experience and it really makes me miss Oregon. Photography by the amazing Briana Morrison!
Here is the second round of photos from our recent trip to Joshua Tree! These were my favorite cacti too see, but unfortunately some thirsty bees were swarming the area and we had to make a quick getaway. Still, it was my favorite trip ever.
